Smart Phones on the Rise

For my essay I am going to cover the topic of why smart phones are so popular.  How smart phones are becoming more of a portable computer.  Some consumers are shying away from buying laptops or desktops because all of the capabilities that a computer have are now on a cell phone.  The capabilities of smart phones are endlessly growing larger and larger allowing the functions that computers have all in the palm of your hand.  I am going to touch on the iPhone being the Mecca of all smart phones.  Some people's livelihood depends on the technology that smart phones provide.  And because so many people get hooked on their phones they have to venture elsewhere in order to be disconnected from the electronic ball and chain.
