Foster The People - Pumped Up Kicks

I've really been diggin this song lately.  Enjoy :)

Coco Filthy

Today I made a purchase that I shouldn't have, but I did anyway.  I needed the product so I had to buy it regardless.  Now I can feel "Filthy Rich" when I apply, it must be the advanced silicone techonolgy that makes one feel that way.  The lotion on the left is good, but I wasn't really seeing results since I don't really have time to go all that much, so I decided to updrage to a more potent lotion.

I also made a sweet little treat tonight, mini pudding pies.  That J-E-L-L-O can make anyone happy.  Sure it's not that fine dinning experience I had last night but I love making these,  it's so easy and so good.

Redd...Always a Good Time

Another fine dinning experience at Redd tonight, as always the food was on point, and delicious.  Last minute I was able to find a dinner date since I was epically flaked on.  I was prepared to dine alone, but hoping I would be joined in the company of a friend, and thankfully one of my realest friends saved the day.  I love eating at his work.  My favorite part of the meal was when my aspiring chef boyfriend came out in his chef coat to give me a hug and a kiss.  It warmed my heart and reminded me of why I love him so much.

Being the Change

In order to see change, you must be the change and that is just what I did.  I recently "deactivated" my Facebook account.  Frankly I am sick and tired of the guise that people put on to have others believe how luxurious their life really isn't.  I asked most of my friends that were friends on Facebook to come to dinner tonight.  Their excuses were that they didn’t have any money.  Really? Broke? That's weird because before the recent deactivation my FB friends were bragging about their new Coach bag, iPad, iPhone, shopping spree, trips to Vegas, basically anything of material value.  I was faced with excuses and phony explanations.  When it came time for these people to really put their money where their mouths were it wasn't there.

Idea for Publication

I recently had the great idea to write a book. Whether it be published or not, I've always wanted to write one.  Being that I have been in the industry that I have for the past four years of my adult life, I have gained experience in the field and I'm pretty sure I can tell all of the do's and don'ts.  The things that I have encountered are so off the wall they need to be documented in a commentary style of writing.  It'd be a direct standpoint and view from behind the front of the house.  There are some things that people need to know, and I will be the one to deliver it to the public raw and uncut.  I and a few others who are in the same industry will also be helping me along the way.  Without saying more and totally giving away the material I'll end this blog post now and get started.  I'm hoping maybe with this book I'll land a spot on Ellen.
